Making it's official debut at the 2004 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the EVIL-R Evolution is APR Performance's development for the 2003-up Mitsubishi Evolution. APR Performance has introduced bolt-on products such as the GTC-200 Carbon Fiber EVO Spec Wing and Carbon Fiber Wind Splitters for the Evolution. These track tested products have made many improvements for Evolution owners lap times. However, for those putting out massive amounts of horsepower from their Evolution, finding a way to increase traction has been the most important factor to faster lap times.

With the APR Performance EVIL-R wide-body aerodynamic kit, Evolutions owners can obtain highly-demanded traction. The EVIL-R aerodynamic kit increases overall body stance by 3.5 inches (90mm). With this increased distance, Evolution owners can now run 18 inch wheels with wheel diameters ranging from 10 to 11 inches and tire diameters up to 305mm to maximize wheel traction. 

In addition to increased wheel sizes, APR Performance has developed aerodynamic components to increase traction. To improve overall downforce the front 3 inch carbon fiber wind splitter to the rear carbon fiber diffuser help keep the EVIL-R planted through the turns. Detachable carbon fiber canards are also utilized 
for front aerodynamic tuning, while the rear adjustable carbon fiber GTC-300 EVO Spec wing, measuring 67 inches (1,700mm) in width and 12 inches (305mm) in height, aids in rear aerodynamic tuning.

APR Performance would not be able to develop such a remarkable track machine by itself. With the help of companies such as HKS, SP Engineering, Racing Hart, Bridgestone, Recaro, TPR Autobody, Tein, BASF, PWR, ACT, Project μ, Autometer, B&M Racing, Carbign Craft, Vinyl Mayhem, Hotchkis Tuning, Seibon, Nitrous Express, Autopower and Ignited; the EVIL-R will be an highly-anticipated contender for the 2005 Time Attack Challenge Events.

Due to the popularity of APR's 2004 SEMA project, the APR EVIL-R Widebody Mitsubishi Evolution, APR has selected the Subaru STi as the next addition to our widebody aerodynamic kit selection.

The APR Performance SS/GT (Special Stage/Grand Touring) aerodynamic widebody kit offers traction gains to Impreza WRX and STI owners. The SS/GT aerodynamic kit increases overall body stance by 3.15 inches (80mm). With this increased distance, Impreza owners can now run 18 inch wheels with wheel diameters ranging from 10 to 11 inches and tire diameters up to 295mm to maximize wheel traction.

To enhance increased traction and stability, APR Performance offers additional aerodynamic components such as a front 3 inch carbon fiber wind splitter with front undertray and rear carbon fiber diffuser.
